Yes. Peak Roofing Team is a local roofing company serving El Paso, Teller and Douglas Counties and the surrounding areas. Our office is centrally located in the Monument Plaza Shopping Center, 481 Highway 105 Suite 203, Monument, CO 80132.

Are you insured?
Yes. We have both Liability and Workers Compensation Insurance. Our roofing salesmen carry copies of our Insurance Certificates with them for your review.

Are you licensed?
Yes. We are licensed in El Paso, Douglas and Teller Counties as well as several municipalities. Our business license is with Monument where our office is located. We pull permits with the appropriate building departments on all of our re-roof projects.

Do you require money up front?
No. We have excellent credit with our suppliers, so we never require money up front from the homeowner.

What should I do if I think I have storm damage to my roof?
Call us for a FREE evaluation before you make an Insurance Claim. If your roof is not damaged you will avoid filing an unnecessary claim. If your roof is damaged, we will help you file the claim and handle all of the paperwok for you.

How long does it take to complete a re-roof?
Most re-roofs are completed in one day.

Do you tear off the old shingles when you do a re-roof?
Yes. Peak Roofing Team always removes all layers of shingles on every re-roof. Most manufacturers will not warranty a roof that has been installed over another layer of shingles. We also take the old shingles to the asphalt recycle plant not to the dump.

How many layers of shingles can a roof have?
Current code allows 2 layers of shingles, but most manufacturers will not warranty their product if it is installed over another layer of shingles.

Do I need to be present during the re-roof?
No. As long as we have your contact information you do not need to be at your property when we do your roof. There is never a situation when we have to go inside your home; so as long as we have access to the driveway to get our trailers in to get the old shingles out and to the back yard to clean up we are usually good to go.

Are you a preferred contractor with my Insurance Company?
Many Insurance Companies enlist “preferred” contractors as a money saving strategy much like they do with health and other types of insurance. Their “preferred Contractors” roof only to code without doing any of the extras that ensure maximum roof performance. This is in exchange for the increased volume that they get by having jobs given to them by the Insurance company. Using your insurance Company’s Preferred Contractor does not guarantee that you will get the best roof installed. Peak Roofing Team roof “above code” meaning we install materials and perform our re-roofs above code requirements at no extra cost to the homeowner. Peak Roofing Team has chosen not to participate in any of the Preferred Roofer programs in order to continue installing roofd to our higher standards and specifications.

Do I have to use my Insurance Company’s roofing company?

My Insurance company told me I need to get 3 bids for my re-roof project. Is that true?
       The Colorado Revised Statutes are very specific about what an insurance company or its agent may or may not do. For instance, they must provide you with a copy of their estimate upon which a settlement is based without you getting  any bids and they must inform you that you may use any repair business of your choosing.
